Genevieve is a trained journalist with a background in creative writing. She is a trained marine mammal medic, is a deputy chair of Maui and Hector's dolphin Defenders Inc., lead campaigner of The Pod (Local Hector's action group), is on the committee of Aotearoa Water Action (AWA) and the Akaroa Marine Protection Society.
She enjoys photographing wildlife of both coastal and river environments.
