Volunteers meet EVERY SUNDAY AFTERNOON between 3 and 5pm.
Meet at the carpark off Charlesworth Street.
Tools and gloves, good company plus refreshments provided. Please wear closed toe shoes.
Since 2005 over 140,000 native plants have been placed by volunteers with support from the Christchurch City Council Ranger Team.
Over 20 ha of farm paddock has been restored to a functional ecological coastal wetland.
These plants, especially young seedlings need regular weeding, pruning and mulching along with seasonal planting.
