Courtney has a background in environmental science, with experience in catchment coordination, water quality monitoring, and community-led environmental restoration across Canterbury. Living in New Brighton with her home backing onto the Avon-Heathcote Estuary / Te Ihutai, she has a personal connection to the estuary and is passionate about a collaborative, ki uta ki tai approach to protecting and restoring our waterways and wider catchments.
